This is our church.  I am not sure how old the
Birch Lake Church is but near 115 years old.

An Angel and a Deer

My cousin believes in angels and I love deer. While she was visiting this summer she was able to hold Scratch under the chin, feed her an apple and she was in awe. A wild deer out of the woods. So my friend Deb who can do wonders on CS5 helped me design the idea I had. I think Cindy will treasure it.  There is an angel watching over her.

Merry Christmas from Holland

This is our lovely Hilde in Holland on the left and her soulmate Chantal. 

 She was in Illinois on a work program and we were blessed to have her stay with us.

Thanks to Wayne for videotaping our children's christmas reading. Now we can show those that do not live up North some of the events that we have here in the Northwoods.  There was hot chocolate, homemade cookies and brownies, and presents for all.

If you want some magic in the snow for Christmas make some 

balloon luminaria's.  I've started mine for the Christmas season.

The perfect Christmas tree? All Christmas trees are perfect!

It has to warm ones heart when you see a Christmas tree.

It's hard to get to work on time when there are so many things to photograph on the Bay.  This immature eagle didn't sit there very long when I stopped to take his picture.

Lights and Snow and Deer...Who could ask for anything more!!

There is magic in the air when we come to this season.  Even the deer enjoy the beautiful lights and I am sure there are angels amongst those branches.

Ike and his new bed

Our new kitty has chosen to sleep in our 100yr old cactus.  

Was he used to being in the wild and that is his comfort zone? 

I think Ike may have lived outdoors before we got him.

And Ebony has adjusted well from the Animal Shelter
